Breaking down Reverse shell commands
Breaking down Reverse shell commands
In pentesting assessments and CTFs we always need reverse shells to execute commands on target machine once we have exploited a system and have a command injection at some point in our engagement. For that we have an awesome project: revshells.com or reverse-shell-generator where we have a ton of reverse shell payloads listed. This blog post tries to explain their working. Note: I’ll be breaking down all of them, but not all at once.

Leverage the richness of HTTP status codes
Leverage the richness of HTTP status codes
If you’re not a REST expert, you probably use the same HTTP codes over and over in your responses, mostly 200, 404, and 500. If using authentication, you might perhaps add 401 and 403; if using redirects 301 and 302, that might be all. But the range of possible status codes is much broader than that and can improve semantics a lot. Six ways to shoot yourself in the foot with healthchecks

Real-time Messaging - Slack Engineering
Real-time Messaging - Slack Engineering
Did you know that ground stations transmit signals to satellites 22,236 miles above the equator in geostationary orbits, and that those signals are then beamed down to the entire North American subcontinent? Satellite radios today serve hundreds of channels across 9,540,000 square miles. Unless you’re working at a secret military facility, deep underground, you can […]
